CAPPADOCIA - Some Examples:

 

Churches and Landscapes of Gulludere and Kizilcukur - Half-Day

Our vehicle drops us off at the starting point in the Zindanonu Valley with its chapel and dovecotes. We hike in the Gulludere Valley (Rose Valley), where we visit the columned church. We’ll pass through a superb viewpoint to reach the Kizikçukur Valley (Red Ravine) with surprising colors and tuff formations. We’ll admire the village of Cavusin with its impressive troglodyte cliff.

3 hours of walking. Return to the hotel.

From the Rocky Peak of Uchisar to Cavusin - Full Day

Our vehicle drops us off at the base of the Uchisar rocky peak for a panoramic view of the region.

We walk on a small path above the Baglidere Valley with remarkable viewpoints of the most beautiful Cappadocian formations. Then, descent through the most beautiful valleys in the region: Güllüdere, and Kizilçukur with their extraordinary lunar landscapes. Arrival at the village of Cavusin with its impressive troglodyte cliff.

5-6 hours of walking. Return to the hotel.

The Most Beautiful Cappadocian Valleys - 3 Days

Day 1: Short minibus ride to the top of the village of Göreme. We’ll walk in the beautiful valleys of Gemildere, Zemi and Pigeons to the Uchisar rocky peak (1000 m) with its panoramic view of the region.

5-6 hours of walking. Return to the hotel.

Day 2: Departure after breakfast, descending through the most beautiful valleys in the region: Baglidere, Güllüdere, and Kizilçukur with their extraordinary lunar landscapes, to the village of Çavusin.

Day 3: Our trail winds through the Gomeda Valley, then descends into the Üzengi River at the foot of magnificent dovecotes carved into the cliff. We’ll continue towards the Pancarlık Valley, which hides some of the most beautiful rock churches in the region (Pancarlık Church), before reaching the Balkan Valley. Arrival in the village of Ortahisar. Panoramic view from the top of its rocky peak of the fairy chimney valleys in the surroundings.

5 hours of walking. Return to the hotel.
